TMICORP – Top 32 Outstanding Vietnamese Enterprises Selected to Accelerate Exports to Europe via E-commerce!
Comprehensive support to improve e-commerce capacity for female entrepreneurs
The project aims to raise awareness and understanding of cross-border e-commerce for female entrepreneurs; provide training and guidance on exploiting e-commerce platforms to develop customers and conduct market research; and promote the application of digital platforms to expand business opportunities.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Hoang Minh Chien, Deputy Director of the Department of Trade Promotion, emphasized that over the years, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and ITC SheTrades have maintained close cooperation with a commitment to promoting comprehensive trade, supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and gender equality in business in Vietnam.
According to Mr. Chien, to achieve these goals, the parties have coordinated with many domestic and international partners, in which the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and the Netherlands Embassy in Vietnam are long-term partners, actively supporting SME development in Vietnam.
Accelerating digital commerce deployment for women businesses
The project, launched in November 2024 in Hanoi, focuses on providing fundamental knowledge on cross-border e-commerce, standard requirements of the European market, as well as taking advantage of incentives from the EVFTA Agreement to expand exports.

Ms. Muriel Tombrink, ITC SheTrades Project Manager, said that the SheTrades initiative mobilizes a wide range of partners – from the Government, the private sector, financial institutions to international organizations – to expand economic opportunities for women entrepreneurs. SheTrades aims to build a sustainable digital trade ecosystem where women entrepreneurs can improve their capacity and grow in the global digital environment.
